June 9, 12:00 PM: WILD Conversations: Addressing Systemic Racism in Education
Join us on June 9 for the next event in our WILD Conversation series! Our next event focuses on systemic racism in Minnesota’s education system. We welcome retired Supreme Court Justice Alan Page and Minneapolis Federal Reserve President Neel Kashkari to speak with our members and colleagues across the legal community about the Page Amendment. They will be joined by Minneapolis Federal Reserve Economist, Dr. Anusha Nath, and Minnesota Parent Union President, Rashad Turner in a discussion about our statewide academic disparities.
The mission of the Wanton Injustice Legal Detail (WILD) is to harness the collective power of TCDIP’s membership to remedy systemic anti-Black racism in the Twin Cities. Register today!

Meet our Board Co-Chair, Ross D’Emanuele!
We are thrilled to have Ross D’Emanuele serving as our 2021-2023 Board Co-Chair. Ross is already looking forward to helping the TCDIP community leverage our efforts to “collaboratively and collectively, work on the diversity, equity, and inclusion issues that are critical for all of us.” Read more on our website to learn about Ross’s perspective as an ally who is working to “listen, learn, and speak and act with empathy while realizing you will never fully understand someone else’s experience.”
TCDIP 1L Clerks: Seeking Mentors
Are you an attorney with 0-8 years of experience interested in mentoring a 1L Clerk this summer? We are looking forward to welcoming our incoming class of 1L Clerks! We pair each 1L Clerk with an mentor from an organization outside their employer so that our 1L Clerks can gain broader exposure to the Twin Cities legal community. We’ve found in the past that it’s great for 1L Clerks to have a mentor that they can ask “sticky” questions and who can answer these questions honestly. Our expectation is that mentors will meet with 1L Clerks at least twice throughout the summer (including virtual meetings). If you are interested in mentoring a 1L Clerk this summer, please fill out this form.
